Real-money games involve financial risk. You can lose the money you put in, and no strategy or app removes that risk. These games are for adults 18 and over, and only where local law permits them. Rules differ between Indian states, so check yours.
Set limits before you play
- Decide how much you can afford to lose, and stop when it is gone.
- Set a time limit and take regular breaks.
- Only use money you do not need for rent, bills, food or family costs.
- Never borrow to play, and do not treat these games as income.
Warning signs
- Chasing losses by playing again to win the money back
- Spending more money or time than you planned
- Hiding your playing from family or friends
- Borrowing, selling things or missing payments to keep playing
- Feeling anxious or irritable when you are not playing
What to do if it stops being fun
Stop depositing, and uninstall the app if that helps. Tell someone you trust. If you are worried about your mental health, Tele-MANAS is India's government mental health helpline: call 14416 or 1-800-891-4416.
If you have lost money to a scam, call the National Cyber Crime Helpline on 1930.
